If my employer does not provide free phone, I would not keep. The user interface is heavy and bulky. The phone software crashes and often blocked. The desktop software has lost the basic features.

I think my big problem with this product is the calendar and address book. Microsoft Vista Home version of Outlook deleted. RIM and the Desktop does not have its own. Thus, the user must enter information in Outlook and then synchronize the BlackBerry with your desktop computer. The calendar and address book are basically useless if you use MS Outlook separately ($ 80) or you bought the old XP. Do not buy this phone if you use a computer with MS Vista.

Being a Verizon Blackberry and fan for years, I am so happy it worked. I have been with BB Curve for the past year, and is a huge step up. Applications seem to move better, moves in the fast network. I love the way the keyboard and trackball to move around. I managed to download the Blackberry App area and get many of my favorite applications more quickly, then on my Curve. And outside of their global! Its only 3 days, but I am very happy!

I bought this from a store AT & T, Amazon, not because I was in a hurry. Amazon would have saved me $ 100.
I decided to go with a smart phone, because I t contacts for my company. I do not share the information service, just a good contact management capabilities.
The sound quality and signal reception are both great on the phone. Just arrived from a razor to the network of Verizon's new and I have never had poor sound quality on this phone til I / AT & T.
The phone has a pseudo-QWERTY keyboard. I used to multi-tapping on a numeric keypad, and it took some getting used to. The trick is to type the words you want, the phone is very good for the word you want based on combinations of letters you have selected. If the phone guesses what you want, it will appear as a small menu under the word so you can not select it and type it all if you choose.

If you have not yet bought a Pearl, then do not. I had almost two years and I can not wait until my contract so I could Chuck this POS in a box for recycling!
